At Saddle Brook Farm Animal Rescue, children ages 6 to 13 learn the basics of horse care and riding on grounds shared with our animal rescue operation. We’re home to alpacas, chickens, emus and more!
Participants will learn to groom, saddle and bridle their horses and have a 45-minute riding lesson daily. Talks will cover equine anatomy, first aid and equipment care. Days close with craft time, and on the final Friday, participants ride in a horse show so family and friends can see what they’ve learned.
